2009 Pikes Peak Young Composers Competition Winners
Executive and Artistic Director Leonard Rhodes wishes to congratulate all composers who submitted their work to the 2009 competition. It is very exciting to receive entries from not just throughout the United States, but also from Canada and Hong Kong. Without a doubt, this year was the highest overall standard the competition has ever received. There were many very worthwhile pieces that unfortunately did not make the placings below but the judges had to decide on just how many should be placed. All scores, critiques and certificates were mailed to the entrants from our office in Colorado on May 6th 2009.
