Fear No Music Young Composers Project
The Fear No Music Young Composers Project is a yearlong series of workshops for composers 5th - 12th grade that culminates in a concert of the student works in May of each year. It is not a competition. Requirements for participation in the workshops and concerts are available at www.fearnomusic.org.
 

International Summer Music Academy
Two-week Intensive composition seminar and master-classes for young talented composers ages 16-35. This International summer school is located in the pastoral and magical Central-European landscape of Michelstadt, Germany.

  National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education

 The PPYC would like to recognize the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education for their support of and contributions to music education and enrichment. The National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education music collaborative has as its mission to use technology to create successful collaborations for faculty and students. We have been particularly devoted to the support of young composers and in the presentation of high quality performances of new music.
 


 New York Summer Music Festival
The New York Summer Music Festival provides students with opportunities to study extensively in many areas of instruction, including: Orchestras and bands for instrumentalists; Choral ensembles and original music theatre projects for vocalists; Composition workshops; A number of jazz classes and ensembles for those who desire intensive jazz training, and; Classes introducing new instruments, such as beginning piano and beginning guitar. In addition to supplemental classes spanning a wide range of ability levels and interests in areas of music history, theory, computer technology in music, filmmaking, jazz improvisation, and many others!

The mission of the Pikes Peak Jazz And Swing Society is to preserve, support and foster jazz in its various forms; to provide encouragement to jazz musicians in their effort, including providing scholarships for jazz education; to assist members in their knowledge and enjoyment of jazz; to provide a focal point for the exchange of information about jazz and jazz musicians; and to provide a social environment in which to experience jazz.
